Montgomery Co. 911, non-emergency lines functional; busy signal may appear

WASHINGTON — 911 and non-emergency lines in Montgomery County are functional after they were down Monday morning, but residents needing emergency assistance are still reminded to contact their nearest or  if they hear a busy signal.

Earlier Monday morning, the county’s 911 center said that they could not receive any calls,

Pete Piringer with the Montgomery County Fire Department told ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµapp that an internal communications error caused the system to go down at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
