Matt About Town: Meet 17-year-old Page, who used his Make-A-Wish experience to inspire others through his love of film

Make-A-Wish teen from Virginia documented his journey on film to inspire others
蜜桃视频app is now in its home stretch of highlighting our month-long partnership with Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. MAWMA’s April “Operation Dream Maker” campaign is actively raising money to fulfill the wishes of the children of our nation鈥檚 military heroes diagnosed with critical illnesses.

Last year, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic granted 386 wishes in the DMV community, and this year, with your help, they say they hope to grant even more.

The nonprofit says around a third of the kids who get wishes in the DC area each year are those with parents or guardians who are serving or have served in the military.

So far this month, you鈥檝e met several Wish Kids from the D.C. region, who have sat down with 蜜桃视频app鈥檚 Matt Kaufax to tell their moving stories of overcoming health challenges through perseverance, optimism, and determination. You鈥檝e also heard about their Wish journeys, and seen how Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic has helped give them hope in tough times!

In today鈥檚 episode of 鈥淢att About Town,鈥 蜜桃视频app鈥檚 Matt Kaufax聽sat down with a Wish Kid who took a different approach to his Wish, and used his love of film, combined with his Wish experience, to turn around and inspire others.

Matt鈥檚 story with 17-year-old Page showcases how one selfless decision helped the Fairfax teen document his own health struggle on camera, with the intention of helping others experiencing the same adversity he did. It鈥檚 an installment in 蜜桃视频app鈥檚 鈥淢ake-A-Wish Month鈥 series that will inspire!

On April 29, please join 蜜桃视频app and Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic in celebrating World Wish Day, commemorating the anniversary of the founding of Make-A-Wish. April is also the Month of the Military Child and World Wish Month!
