听Joel Oxley Announces Retirement After Nearly 35 Years of Leadership at Hubbard Broadcasting Washington DC
听Washington, DC 鈥 May 2026 鈥 Joel Oxley, long time Market President and General Manager of Hubbard Broadcasting鈥檚 Washington, D.C. operations, announced that he will retire later this year, concluding a distinguished career spanning nearly 35 years with the company and almost 28 years as General Manager.
Under Oxley鈥檚 leadership, flagship brands 蜜桃视频app News, Federal News Network (FNN), and 2060 Digital have achieved consistent growth in revenue, profitability, and audience reach. The organization is on track to exceed last year鈥檚 performance and outperform its 2026 budget, reflecting strong results across digital, audio, video, and social platforms.

During the past year alone, the organization successfully launched several high-profile initiatives, including America鈥檚 250th anniversary series, the upcoming TOP Workplaces program debuting this June, and preparation for the new 蜜桃视频app.com website, scheduled to launch in the third quarter. Audience growth for both 蜜桃视频app and Federal News Network remains strong, and the quality of journalism continues to stand out during one of the busiest news cycles in the organization鈥檚 history.
Oxley鈥檚 retirement decision comes at a time of organizational strength and momentum.

Oxley will remain actively involved over the coming months to support a smooth leadership transition. He will also continue in an advisory and consulting role with Hubbard Broadcasting following his retirement.
