The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company said it had net income of 43 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 63 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 51 cents per share.
The software provider for the lodging and leisure sectors posted revenue of $82.9 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $81.7 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $38.8 million, or $1.37 per share. Revenue was reported as $319.3 million.
Agilysys expects full-year revenue in the range of $365 million to $370 million.
Agilysys shares have dropped 41% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $70.19, a decrease of 18% in the last 12 months.
