Nurses striking at Providence Hospital

WASHINGTON — Nurses at D.C.’s Providence Hospital are on strike,
protesting what they say is a lack of training to deal with Ebola.

Nurses in D.C. are staging protest rallies Wednesday as part of a wave of
protests across the country.

National Nurses United spokesman Charles Idelson tells the inadequate preparednesss for Ebola
symbolizes an erosion of standards for patient care.

The hospital says it’s disappointed by the union’s decision to strike for
24 hours.
