Out now, a rapper named Rockville Slim has responded with his own city-themed track, .
First off, the beat sounds like a relic of the 1980s; the rapper looks like he’s wearing a fur coat from Joe Namath’s collection. But dig into the song, and Slim shouts out local landmarks like Ultimate Garage and Montgomery College.
“I’m putting the Rock back in Rockville,” the rapper proclaims, “and I’m putting the ILL back in Rockville.”
