WASHINGTON – A small plane crashed this morning at the Freeway Airport on Church Road in Bowie.
Prince George’s County Fire says the single-engined plane was carrying four people when it crashed in a cornfield near the airport.
The fire department says there were four people on board, and all appear to have escaped injury.
