WASHINGTON – A man was struck and killed by a truck on the Fairfax County Parkway Sunday night.
The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. Sunday on the southbound side of the Fairfax County Parkway near Ehlers Road.
Police say the man, in his 50s, was walking on the parkway when a pickup truck struck him. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
The driver stayed on the scene.
