WASHINGTON – Skype is rolling out a new feature that users who have trouble connecting will likely appreciate.
It’s called Video Message, and it’s the visual equivalent of an answering machine.
Skype users on iOS, Android and Mac – not on Windows platforms – can send a video message up to 3 minutes in length to a person on their contact list who is offline.
Windows users will have access to Video Message by the end of April, according to .
Skype users on non-Windows platforms can send the video message from a phone, tablet or computer.
Users are able to use the feature to send 20 free video clips or upgrade to a Skype Premium subscription to send unlimited video messages.
