WASHINGTON – For those watching the ceremonial swearing-in of President Barack Obama Monday via video monitor near the Washington Monument, the experience was not so pleasant.
As audio of the speech faded in and out during the president’s remarks, people started to file out with scrunched faces from the noise.
Some people who traveled a long way to see the ceremony were visibly angry. Others said while it didn’t ruin their experience, it certainly put a damper on the occasion.
Some people found a way to work around the audio problems, though.
How frustrating. learning that the jumbotron is having audio issues at Ellipse. Large crowd relies on hearing ceremony thru jumbotron
