WASHINGTON – The Republican Party of Virginia has ordered a local affiliate to remove photos from its Facebook page depicting President Barack Obama as a witch doctor and caveman.
The photos were on the page of the Mecklenburg County Republican Committee. State GOP Chairman Pat Mullins tells the images “have no place in political discourse — period.”
The photos were still Wednesday morning.
