Harper’s ‘clown question’ response turns fashionable

WASHINGTON – Just in time for Bryce Harper’s historic All-Star appearance, there’s a new T-shirt to help you channel your inner anti-clown.

The reports the Harper-inspired clown shirts will be available on Tuesday and also will be sold at select retail locations.

The shirts say “Don’t be a clown bro,” a reference to the rookie’s response to a Canadian about having a beer.

In addition to the phrase on the front, Harper’s initials and number are on the back.

This isn’t the first time a retail product has used the “clown question” line. Last month, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp’s Neil Augenstein tasted beer, a Canadian lager from Denver.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp’s Brennan Haselton contributed to this report. Follow and on Twitter.
