WASHINGTON – Howard County police are investigating a shooting in Marriottsville, which is near Ellicott City.
A 15-year-old boy was found outside with a gunshot wound in the 11400 block of Frederick Road at 7:05 p.m. by a nearby resident who called 911.
Police don’t believe the gunshot was self-inflicted and are investigating the possibility of foul play.
The boy, a Baltimore County resident, was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, but hasn’t been identified. He was in critical but stable condition.
