WASHINGTON – Firefighters have determined that the people who live in a two-story house in Colesville, Maryland, that burned and partially collapsed early Wednesday morning are out of town.
Pete Piringer, of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, says that investigators have accounted for the family at 12512 White Drive, in Colesville, just north of the Anacostia River, where a large fire started shortly before 4 a.m.
Firefighters saw heavy fire when they got to the single-family house, he says. Part of the roof has collapsed; two cars are in the garage.
