Residents still without water in Bethesda

WASHINGTON –ÌýUPDATE Sunday 10:30 A.M WSSC says all service has returned to Bradley BoulevardÌýresidents.

UPDATE Sunday 9:30 A.M.ÌýWater is slowly returning for Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC)Ìýcustomers on Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, Ìýfollowing a second break on the same pipe around midnight Sunday — one hour after crews completed the first repair.

WSSC said it hoped to restore water to everyone by lunchtime.ÌýSunday marked the second day without water. ÌýWSSC toldÌýÌýÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµapp that one apartment building was still Ìýwithout water service this morning.

On Saturday, eight apartment buildings had no water after the 62-year old pipe burst between Arlington Road and Wisconsin Avenue.Ìý

Update from WSSC: Sunday, 1 a.m.

Bradley Boulevard is blocked between Chevy Chase Drive and Offutt Lane. Pepco and WSSC crews were both on the scene as of 6 p.m. Saturday.
