WASHINGTON — An investigation into a possible stabbing caused delays on Metro’s Orange, Blue and Silver lines Wednesday afternoon.
Metro police say a 19-year-old man grabbed someone’s phone at the L’Enfant Metro Station around 3:30 p.m. and boarded an Orange Line train toward New Carrollton. While the suspect was on the train, a man tried to intervene and his hand was punctured.
The suspect was arrested at Federal Center SW. Â Two trains were held and were out of service, causing delays during the early part of the evening rush hour.
