WASHINGTON — The woman who police said threw her own urine at a Metrobus driver last August was arrested again Friday.
Police said 38-year-old Opal Brown failed to appear in court Thursday for her initial hearing,.
Metro Transit Police arrested her Friday.

Last August, police said cameras on the bus captured her relieving herself into a cup toward the rear of the bus and then walking to the front of the bus. When the bus arrived at the stop for Minnesota Avenue and Benning Road in Northeast D.C., police said Brown reached around the driver’s plastic shield and dumped the liquid.
She told that she did it because she was provoked and that the driver had been rude to her. She said that she hated Metro, but she apologizes to her community.
Several Metro bus drivers , demanding more protection for drivers.
Brown was banned from riding the X2 bus line, the route she was riding when she allegedly threw her urine at the driver, but she was free to ride other Metrobuses.
